About Bill Gould

I am the father of a Mesa View Elementary student, Apryl who is 9 years old and in 4th grade. After being a single father with sole custody of my daughter, I started dating Jeney Kingsbury in 2002 and we were married on Valentines Day in 2004 in a small backyard ceremony at my parents home in Temecula. In looking for a larger home we found Menifee and have lived in the Heritage Lakes development since June of 2006. I love my local community and have felt welcomed by the residents of Romoland since moving here from Temecula. I was elected in November of 2007 and I am honored to serve on the Romoland School District Board of Trustees.

Bill Gould Romoland School District Trustee 2008I started my own event business, Full Value Entertainment, in December 2003 - after working for another talent agency that moved its offices to Hawaii. Since 1998 I have played in various different bands and have toured across many states where I have been fortunate enough to meet many great people and see some of America’s most beautiful places.

I have also seen how lucky we are in Southern California, with our growing economy, even in these bad times. Many cities and school districts outside of California have seriously declining enrollment. We are so blessed to be in a school district that is growing and developing into a powerhouse of education. Many thanks to the Parents who spend time helping the kids at home, the teachers who have done such a terrific job in the class, principals for leading the way and the district staff for providing support that is needed to make it all work on a daily basis.

In 1995, at age 19, I successfully created my sprinkler repair and lawn service company, Sunbird Sprinkler. All of my businesses are based in Temecula and I am the founder and Director of the Temecula Music Fest, an event that takes place the 3rd weekend of every May in Temecula. I am currently Vice-President of Full Value Property Management Inc, a local family owned business that manages over 125 houses and condos in the Southwest Riverside County area.

I have been very active in the Art and Music scene in the Temecula Valley for years now, Full Value Entertainment produces many teen concert events for the City of Temecula and recently started ‘LIVE at The Merc‘ - a weekly concert series held in Old Town Temecula. I am a past Board member on the Arts Council of Temecula Valley, the past president and founder of FOMAA (Freedom of Music and Art) and I was on the steering committee for the City of Temecula’s ‘Youth Master Plan’, a plan designed to lay out a framework for the future of Temecula’s children. I currently serve on the Board of Directors for VOICES aka Joey’s Pals based here in Romoland.

My wife Jeney is an employee in child care at Murrieta Valley Unified and volunteers at Mesa View on a regular basis. My mother Judy Gould has worked for the Murrieta district for over 15 years and is past president of the CSEA in Murrieta. Between volunteer work, my job and my family I have extensive experience in working with children, teens and young adults. Many of the programs I have started or been a part of have yielded great results in keeping kids out of trouble and helping kids who are already on the right path stay there.

I graduated the CSBA Masters in Governance program in March 2009 and look forward to helping Romoland excel. As the area grows my goals are to see that test scores are increasing higher, the kids are healthy, safe and happy. I want to make sure parents feel good about living in the Menifee, Romoland, Homeland and Perris areas and sending their kids to school here at the Romoland School District.
